1. How to set up
After creating the introductory information, the Organizer needs to set up the conditions for users to register the contest:

  • Specify Participants: Requires participant to be IB or trader... The current version is defaulting to a trader.
  • Participation fee: When traders register to participate in the contest, they must pay a fee in FXCE which was set up by the Organizer.
  • Specify Exchange: Choose the type of account (exchange and server) that allows you to participate in the contest. The current version is only offering FXCE Demo account type. FXCE will update more options in the next versions.
  • Deposit/Withdrawal: Allow or block deposit/withdrawal during the contest. The contest organizer can block deposit/withdrawal to prevent the balance from increasing or decreasing, affecting the results of the contest (applicable to Real accounts).
  • Organization fee: Set by contest creator with value <= 50% of total registration fee. This fee will be automatically transferred to the Organizer wallet before the final prize is sent out. Example:
    • Organizer sets an organization fee of 10%
    • Total participation fee is 10,000
    • Organizer will receive 10,000*10% = 1000 FXCE
  • Grant administrator rights: Enter username. Admin will have some of the same permissions as Organizer, details are as follows:
    • The right to edit and delete the contest while the contest is Pending.
    • The right to activate the contest (change status from Pending to Live). Admin will pay 50 FXCE activation fee.
    • The right to send an email requesting to cancel the contest (provided that before the end of round 1 - 23:59:59 of the end day of round 1).
    • In case the cancellation request is approved successfully, 50 FXCE activation fee will be refunded to the Admin's account wallet.

*Note: Admin does not have the right to receive organization fees

Additional conditions:

  • Allow or disallow anonymous accounts to participate in the contest: An anonymous account is an account that has not completed level 3 - not yet verified identity (KYC).
  • Allow a trader to join with max number of trading accounts
  • Pre-exam elimination criteria: Current version provides "Latest Balance" criteria.
  • Organizers can set up a password for the contest (optional). Only those who enter this correct password can participate in the contest.
