What is a Score Multiplier?

As the name implies, the score multiplier is a condition to multiply the trading account's gain (%) by positive factors, as a result, increasing the score earned in a contest.

For example, a "×2" multiplier means that the score at genesis will double when grading.

Multipliers are determined based on the beginning balance of the trading account. They're expressed as both integers (×2, ×3, ×5, etc.) and fractions (with maximum of 2 decimals like ×0.15, ×0.25, ×0.35 etc.)

In general, having a high score multiplier is pretty vital for a trader seeking final prize, as a result of high rank.

Gain (%) * Multiplier = Gain Score (%)

Why Score Multiplier does provide fairness to all trading accounts

Traders joining Colosseum 2022 contest can deposit any amount as long as the minimum is $50. Moreover, that traders have their own strategy of trading and risk management will lead to an imbalance in growth between accounts.

Participants with large deposit direct at proper risk management resulting in a lower gain than small balance accounts that trade with high volume. Racing for rankings, traders usually find themselves a potentially short-circuiting success by overtrading and circumventing the laid-out system. Their lack of planning execution can easily be a cause for the eventual demise of their account.

Score multiplier serves as a balance measure of gain metric between contest trading accounts. Each amount of total deposit will correspond to a multiplier throughout the contest to calculate the Gain Score as a final review criteria. That eventually leads to a fair competition environment.
